I just got a short taste, but I already miss the road, deeply.

Heading back north!
Wow. What an incredible week! I met so many amazing people and learned so much. Heard a lot of great music too : ) I also got to spend some quality time with good friends. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the experiences this week. Thank you to everyone involved. Can’t wait for more!
PDX here I come.

Reno! Lesson of the day so far: don’t think to yourself, “it’s only 10 more miles, I can hold my pee for a few more minutes”, because you will inevitably get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Stoked to play tonight though! Yay!
Did I say tacos? I meant enchiladas. Mmm. And p.s. They were out of regular corona. I would almost never order a light beer.
Day 2
Arcata was awesome! The lovely folks of Humbolt County took really great care of us. Vadim and co. are also really amazing people.
Driving into my hometown of Sacramento for my off day. Hoping to have some good tacos and cold cerveza. It’s like 90 degrees here in the Central Valley which is hot for a Portlander : )
Also if I don’t drive a super twisty, small California highway again for a while, I’ll be ok with that.
Ta-ta for now! On to I-5 and long stretches of dead grass.

Burning CDRs like it’s ‘99
My man’s car has no iPod input. I’m burning mad CDRs like it’s back in the day. Boo to technology regression, but yay to free podcasts!
